my life thus far
has been a waste
half by choice
half by circumstance
and i'd like her
not to save me
but to enlarge
my tiny world
as i've tried it
myself
or maybe just thought
about it
by myself
and it looms impossible
above my head
where i stand
i hope
i'm worth it.
